Rabbi Reuven Spolter: “The Religious Nature of Jerusalem – The Struggle for the Soul of the Holy City”
Many of us have visited Jerusalem and care about the nature of the city. Some of us are reform, conservative, or orthodox (and some none of these). We have different notions of what Judaism practice and Jerusalem ambiance should be. Should there be a mixed (gender) area by the Western Wall? Should only the orthodox have family cycle ritual authority? Come hear how Jerusalem’s nature is changing and how the religious component is affecting it.
Rabbi Spolter is a graduate of Yeshiva University with an MA in Secondary Jewish Education and Rabbinic Ordination from the Rabbi Isaac Elchonon Theological Seminary, he has taught and lectured to groups of all ages in communities around the world.
IDF Cybersecurity Expert Yael Elbaz: “Cyber Warfare as a New Field of Conflict”
Cyber Warfare is affecting the battlefield, domestic work, and foreign policy. How is it being used in Israel? How is Israel combatting against it from its enemies? Why is Israel one of the leading worldwide cybersecurity experts?
Yael Elbaz is a Senior Consultant and Cybersecurity Project Manager at Ernst and Young’s Cyber Division. Yael draws on her experience as an Intelligence officer in the Israeli Sigint National Unit (aka unit 8200), and a techno-intelligence team leader to ensure the highest standards of security for international and Israeli high-tech corporations.
